Mobilis Home Medical Equipment was founded with one purpose: to better serve veterans.

More than 20 years ago, our family saw firsthand how hard it could be for veterans to access the right equipment and support. We had loved ones navigating the VA system, struggling with outdated providers, and waiting too long for basic home modifications. So we created Mobilis — not just to sell equipment, but to make the process easier, more personal, and grounded in care.

Veterans aren’t just our clients. They’re the reason we exist.

VA Process & Eligibility

Equipment & Product Access

Do you work directly with the VA?

Yes. We have strong relationships with VA hospitals and clinics throughout Nebraska and Iowa and work directly with case managers to coordinate services and equipment.

How do I know if my equipment is covered by the VA?

Eligibility depends on factors like your service-connected needs and referral status. We can help you understand what's covered and assist with paperwork and approvals.

What if I don’t want to go through the VA?

We’re happy to work with you directly. Many veterans choose to purchase equipment independently, and we still offer the same level of care and support without involving the VA.

Can I schedule a home visit before I have VA approval?

Yes. We offer free in-home consultations with no obligation. This gives us a chance to assess your needs and help you make an informed decision, whether you're working with the VA or not.

How long does the process take?

Timelines vary based on the VA approval process, but we help move things along quickly. Once approved, most installations can be completed within a few days.

Do your installers work for you directly?

Yes. Our technicians are factory-trained, experienced, and local. We don’t subcontract . The same team that evaluates your needs will be there to install and support your equipment.

Where can I see your products in person?

Visit our Council Bluffs showroom to see stair lifts, scooters, lift recliners, and more. Our team can walk you through the features and help you test what works best.

Do you sell wheelchairs, scooters, and lift chairs?

Yes. We offer a wide range of mobility products both online and in our showroom — including manual and power wheelchairs, scooters, lift chairs, walkers, and daily living aids.
